We traveled 8 hours yesterday(June 16th) and 800 something miles. We did the Trench, to Watson Lake for fuel, then Whitehorse for fuel, we had lunch with some others traveling home to Fresno, CA. from Alaska. Karen and her husband, another couple from CA. and one couple from Alaska. They were all helpful on great places to see in Alaska. When we arrived in Dawson City,Yukon...Canada...it was still light at 9:30pm and did not get dark ...the sun went down at midnight...but I never saw darkness...weird...
Sometime today or tommorrow we will be in Fairbanks, Alaska!

Have been following your blog with interest. Now that you're in Alaska, watch out for the bears!
Can't give you much bear avoidance
advice as we don't get many in London, however safe journey and
enjoy the trip!
