This is one of the elders as they call her...she is about 86 years old.
She walked all over visiting everyone at the Blanket Toss Festival,
She came up to us and we stood up and she hugged us...Mell kissed an
Eskimo!
The Blanket Festival is where they divide up the Whale meat after the catch. They share it with the whole Village!
We met a young Eskimo 27 yr old , I asked if he had a family and he told me "No ,I just support my elders",That's the way they are raised!
Mell said" Call My Kids"
