On the way back we saw a bear run across the street, then we saw moma and two cubs
She was trying to get them up the tree. She suceeded with this cub, but had to swat
the other before he would go up. I got the rest on video. I started counting deer to keep myself awake. I counted 27 then we saw the bears!

you're lucky mama didnt take a swipe at you. messing with the babies is likely to get her riled up. When Mary Beth visited Canada, she stumbled across a black bear too, and was quite excited, but scared too. it ran down the trail ahead of her when she was spotted. she barely got a pic of it.
