Our friend Christina was there to meet us when we arrived in Eagle. The first picture our first view of the damage done here. Christina gave us the tour of what was left. The second picture is one of David Scott's houses....it is in the middle of the street!
The next picture is Chalia's place...we were assigned to help her, she is a widow and her home was savable. The house was flooded right above the second floor which damaged the carpet in the second floor but not much else...the first floor had to be completely removed! Mell helped rebuild that part of her house. The next two homes were pushed up against the trees here by the water and the ice. The river would flood and reside and it did this 3 times. The ice had jammed up river. Then the last time the river resided the ice just fell and smashed cars and
homes!
