Day14 June15
Well we left Invemere this morning and flew north thru the Southern Trench, a trench with a lake 100 something miles long, it was filled with waterfalls and rivers, very beautiful. We landed in MacKensie. The whole flight was about three hours. We will stay for the night. We will head up "The Trench" tommorrow weather permitting. There are several Indian reservation in the trench that have airstrips...and a couple of emergency airstrips, not much else. 342 miles of the trench...about 3 hours flying time. This leg of the journey will put us on the Alaska Highway.
