Today when we left the airport it looked like a storm was coming through...but we flew around it...thats why we couldn't get close to Mt Rushmore. We flew about three hours from South Dakota to Wyoming to Montana. The Airport where we landed is on the
edge of Montana and Idaho. We have traveled over 1400 miles so far. We climbed up to 12,500 feet to fly through the mountains down a valley into the airport at West Yellowston. The elevation of this airport is 6,645 ft.
