Day 41 and 42 July 10, 11

We have had a great time here in Nenana but must move southward. Today we will be headed for Palmer for a grocery store and then up to Sheep Mountain where we will stay for the night.
Our new friends Wendy and Woody have a Rustic Log Cabin and have invited us up to stay with them. It should be really fun!

Lastly I want to share a poem we found on the wall of the Bunkhouse in Serpintine Hot Springs.
It was an amazing place and I think we did leave full of grace!

We were supposed to float the Noatak,
but we had a bit of a set back.
Four days in Kotzcbuc we were stuck,
in the fog, the rain and the muck!
And after all that, the river was in flood,
the fishing no good!
And so at Jim's office we stood.
We devised a plan B, and headed for Sepintine.
Now its cheers all around,
for incredible scenery and wildlife abound.
A nice long soak in the springs,
and you feel you've grown wings.
What an amazing place,
we'll leave full of grace!
Love ya
M&M
